Now accepting applications for 2008-09 Youth Exchange!

If you know an exceptional high school student that is ready for the challenge of spending a year totally immersed in another culture, please encourage him or her to apply to become a [b]Rotary Youth Exchange[/b] student!

The program is open to Rotarian and non-Rotarian family members.

Caution: the successful student will return with horizons expanded, life-long friends around the world, and a deeper appreciation of our own culture. 8)

The [url=http://www.ryeflorida.org/]RYE*Florida[/url] web has information, application form and other resources that potential exchange students or family members can use to make this decision.

Students and their parents must attend an informational meeting prior to applying. The meetings will be held as follows:
Thursday, October 18 - Bartram Trail Branch, St. Johns County Library, 60 Davis Pond Blvd., Fruit Cove, FL 32259
Wednesday, October 24 - American Red Cross, 751 Riverside Avenue, Jacksonville FL 32204
The meetings run from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and pre-registration is required. (Additional meetings will be held in Daytona Beach, Dunedin and Gainesville).

[b]November 15 is the deadline for submission of Applications.[/b] Applications received after that date will not be considered for the 2008-09 school year.

I an interested in the international student program, but the website you gave for some reason didnt wokr for me. I f you wouldnt mind could you repost it again??...

Where exactly are ya'll located??... I'm really interested in the international student program but am unsure about somethings. Do I have to go phyiscally to the place to get the application, or can I apply and send it in through the internet?
